Instructions

Download and extract the software package.
Place it on a USB memory device and plug that into the P3 System Controller.
On the P3 System Controller, close the open showfile (File -> Close).
On the P3 System Controller, go to Settings -> Hardware Settings -> System -> Software -> Reload to start the update.

New Features & Improvements

User interface rendering of spreadsheets improved.
MVR Import now automatically suggesting P3 Fixture Type and P3 DMX Mode for all known fixtures.
MVR Export now automatically suggesting MVR Fixture Type and MVR DMX Mode for all known fixtures.
MVR Import/Export showing progress bar when needed.
MVR Import now allows fixtures with Fixture ID 0.
MVR Import keeps fixtures that are not patched in the MVR file also unpatched on P3.
MVR Import/Export now place yoke type fixtures with base upwards when using Bottom projection mode.
MVR Import/Export now place yoke type fixtures with base downwards (on the floor) when using Top projection mode.
Removed "P3 DMX" modes from fixtures with P3 Mix channel to avoid confusion.

Bug Fixes

P3-050/150/300 now correctly support all user interface resolutions up to Full HD.
Changing user interface monitor while machine is running no longer results in corrupt user interface.
Crash during shutdown fixed.
MVR Export no longer exports fixtures patched to 5-pin XLR on MVR universe 128 (now exports them to universe 1 in MVR).
Various user interface cleanups.

Known Issues

FreeScale configuration mode does not allow fixtures with pixel pitch smaller than "native" pitch.
During MVR Import, rotated fixtures might be placed with a minor position offset.
During MVR Export, rotated fixtures might be placed with a minor position offset.
MVR Import ignores grouped fixtures.
MVR Import/Export is disabled in 1:1 projects.
About dialog not showing all expected information.
Displaying testpattern on VDO Face 5 sometimes leaves a few pixels black (can be fixed by giving it another Number).
P3-050/150/300 may not recognize certain USB memory stick types.

Warnings

Please update EC-10 and EC-20 panels to firmware 3.0.0, using a P3-175/275/PC running 3.1.1 or newer, BEFORE connecting them to a P3-050/150/300.
Please update P3 PowerPort 1500's to firmware 1.2.1 or newer, using a P3-175/275/PC running 3.1.1 or newer, BEFORE connecting them to a P3-050/150/300.
